Terms and Conditions


We will do our best to process your order within two days of receiving it. However, we do not dispatch on Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays. Also, busy periods may slow us down a little; so, please bear with us. If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfil your order in our usual timeframe, we will contact you to advise you about when you can expect your order.


Standard service delivery costs depend on your order value:


- Up to £24.99 = £3.99

- £25–50 = £7.50

- Over £50 = free of charge


You may also choose to collect your order, in person, from the shop – normally ready within two days. We will send you an e-mail to confirm when your order is ready. When collecting your order in person, please bring with you your paypal receipt as proof of order.


Delivery charge is per order, regardless of the number of packages, to any UK mainland address. This charge covers packing, handling and delivery. We currently use Royal Mail to deliver your order.



We want you to be completely happy with your Shop Equality purchases. So, we operate a no-questions-asked refund policy. We just ask that you send your purchase back within 14 days of receipt of goods, with proof of purchase, in perfect saleable condition. We ask that you take all reasonable care of the products, while they are in your possession.

Should any items be damaged in transit, please notify us within 48 hours and we will send a replacement.

Unwanted items may be returned in their original packaging, in perfect saleable condition, for a full refund. Return to: Shop Equality, 8A Wells Place, Eastleigh, SO50 5PP

We regret that postage costs cannot be refunded, unless goods are being returned because of an error on our part. This applies to both outbound and return postage. Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt of the order. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returned earrings, unless faulty.

When it comes to food & drink products, we accept only unopened returns of these items – at the discretion of Shop Equality, so please contact us before returning these.

Nothing in this returns policy affects your statutory rights or your rights under any contract which you may have with us.


Payment information

We accept credit cards/debit cards and PayPal, via our secure website. All items and orders are sold in pounds sterling. Where applicable, all prices include VAT, at the prevailing rate at the time of dispatch.

We are open Monday–Friday (9am–5pm) and Saturday (10am–4pm).


Cancellation information

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within a period of seven working days. This period begins on the day after the day you receive your goods. You must inform us, in writing (by letter or e-mail), of your wish to cancel, within a period of seven working days. You must take reasonable care of the goods and not use them. You should return goods to us in their original packaging, wherever possible, and as soon as possible after informing us of your wish to cancel. If you return goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit. We highly recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund you, those amounts attributable to the loss or damage.

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of information provided, most items are handmade from natural materials and may vary slightly from details, photography, images or colour specified. All measurements given are approximate.



We are committed to protecting your privacy. We may use information which we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We will not pass on, rent or sell your e-mail address or any personal information about you, to any third party, under any circumstances.

Should a dispute result in legal action, UK law is applicable.

Title of goods

Ownership of goods will pass to you, when full payment (including full payment for all relevant taxes and delivery charges) has been received.

Changes to terms and conditions

We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time. However, this right shall not affect the existing terms and conditions accepted at the time of your purchase. Terms and conditions effective from 1/11/13.
